A star-studded fundraiser hosted by President Biden in New York City was interrupted multiple times by demonstrators both inside and outside the venue, with clashes between protesters and New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers on Thursday night. Ta.
The protest took place along 6th Avenue and Avenue of the Americas in midtown Manhattan, outside Radio City Music Hall.
The fundraiser, which reportedly raised $25 million, also included a panel discussion with Biden, former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. The Q&A was moderated by Stephen Colbert.
Protesters shouted, “We’re losing our minds,” and interrupted the rally. Many protesters outside chanted, “Genocide Joe, it’s time to go.”

Other protesters continued to interrupt the three presidents’ remarks on Gaza, with several shouting, “There’s blood on our hands.”
Actor Sean Hayes posted a photo from the fundraiser on Instagram. He has been photographed with Biden, Obama, and Clinton, as well as fellow actors Jason Bateman and Will Arnett.
Hayes captioned the photo: “Historic moment.”
