Is Taylor Swift the last hope for a wavering President Biden? Rob Reiner seems to think so.
Rob Reiner has implored Taylor Swift to publicly endorse President Joe Biden’s re-election bid, saying he would “do whatever it takes” to make the pop star’s announcement.
Swift has remained conspicuously silent about the 2024 presidential election after endorsing Biden four years ago. At a time when Biden, 81, faces record-low approval ratings, especially among younger Democrats, millions of whom are dissatisfied with his presidency, the singer believes such support is a personal favorite of his. It is necessary to consider the damage to the brand.
“I’ll do anything if she supports Joe Biden,” a desperate Reiner wrote. “She will virtually single-handedly save American democracy.”
We’re currently filming a sequel to This Is Spinal Tap. As much as I’d like Taylor Swift to have a cameo in a movie, I’d do anything for her to support Joe Biden. She will virtually single-handedly save American democracy.

Rob Reiner has been one of Biden’s staunchest Hollywood supporters, donating heavily to his political career over the years and organizing several lavish showbiz fundraisers.
Reiner also touted the Biden team’s election strategy of equating Biden with democracy, thereby viewing any challenger as a threat to democracy.
But this semantic trick doesn’t seem to work for the American public.
Biden’s popularity is waning, with his approval rating dropping to 38% last month, near an all-time low, according to a Gallup poll.
A recent Quinnipiac poll found that a whopping 67% of voters think Biden is too old to serve a second term. Even a poll by new york times Biden is heavily criticized, with 73% of registered voters believing he is too old to be an effective president.
