Even Joe Biden’s biggest Hollywood cheerleader, Rob Reiner, saw Thursday’s debate as nothing less than a complete fiasco for the 80-year-old president.
After nearly two days of silence, Rob Reiner finally weighed in on CNN’s debate and called it a “catastrophe” for Biden, but he doubled down on his support for the incumbent president, arguing that Biden is still a “good and decent guy” who “cares” about his fellow Americans.
Reiner also slandered former President Donald Trump, calling him a “convicted criminal” and “destroying our democracy.”
Last night’s debate was a disastrous defeat for President Biden. But the choice remains crystal clear. We can either choose a good, decent person who cares about the people and knows how to govern, or we can choose a convicted criminal who will destroy our democracy. It’s not a hard choice.

Reiner reportedly co-hosted a Hollywood watch party and fundraiser for Biden on Thursday, with attendees including three Democratic governors: Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, Andy Beshear of Kentucky and J.B. Pritzker of Illinois, according to Deadline. report.
In asserting that Biden is a “good and decent person,” Reiner ignored the fact that Biden lied during the debate when he claimed that no US soldiers had been killed during his presidency.
In August 2021, a withdrawal from Afghanistan ordered by President Biden went horribly wrong, leaving 13 US soldiers dead, as Breitbart News reported. In January 2024, three US soldiers were killed in Jordan after being targeted by Iranian-backed militia groups.

Additionally, two Navy SEALs were killed in January. During the interdiction operation A ship carrying Iranian weapons headed for Yemen.
Gold Star families have accused Biden of erasing the legacies of their loved ones.
Rob Reiner continues to be one of Joe Biden’s biggest supporters in the entertainment industry, and he’ll be attending a Biden fundraiser in Hollywood on Saturday with Vice President Kamala Harris.
