Actor Robert De Niro took to the stage on Tuesday on behalf of the Biden campaign. He led a lively news conference outside the Manhattan courthouse where former President Donald Trump’s defense team made closing arguments in the so-called “hush money” trial.

The Biden campaign made a major statement saying that with the jury set to hear the case on Wednesday after being silent for weeks, they would allow reporters to be present on the day of closing arguments, “with special guests.”

“We’re not here today because of what’s going on over there,” Biden campaign communications director Michael Tyler told reporters, pointing to the courthouse. “We’re here today because you’re here.”

After telling reporters on Tuesday that Trump “want to create total chaos” and “not just destroy cities,” De Niro, 80, a former Biden campaign narrator, added: “Ultimately, [Trump] It could destroy the whole world.”

“This fool running for president said, ‘That can’t be true,’ forgetting the lessons of history of other clowns who weren’t taken seriously until they became brutal dictators. Thanks to Trump, we’ve got a second chance, but no one is laughing anymore,” De Niro told a crowd of reporters outside the courthouse.

“This is not a threat, this is reality!” he continued in an animated but suspicious tone.

“It’s not meant to scare people. No, wait, maybe it is,” he added. “If Trump is back in the White House, goodbye to these freedoms that we take for granted.”

“And the election. Forget it. It’s over. It’s over. If he gets elected, I can tell you right now: He will never quit. He will never quit. You know that. He will never quit.”

De Niro seems unaware that Trump was already elected president in 2016 and none of this happened. Or maybe Hollywood elites think that the general public and Democrat voters are so ignorant about how the system works that the more they keep saying “Trump will never quit if he gets elected,” the more people will end up believing him.

In De Niro’s prepared remarks, he called Trump a “clown,” a “filthy real estate swindler” and a “tyrant.” Raging Bull The actor yelled abuse at pro-Trump protesters who were chanting “Fuck Joe Biden” and “De Niro’s a gangster bitch” in an attempt to drown out the celebrity activist.

De Niro then yelled at a nearby pro-Trump protester, “You’re a f**king moron,” after another called him a “DNC payday loan” and suggested De Niro had ties to the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

When De Niro’s name came up in a 1998 investigation into a child prostitution ring, French investigators questioned him for a time, but casino The actor was not detained or charged.

“In 1998 Article from The Independent Six people were indicted in France for running an international prostitution ring that included girls as young as 15. The ring specialized in “tricking and ensnaring star-struck teenage girls into selling their bodies with the promise of careers as models and actresses,” Lichfield wrote. From Politifact.com.

Online commenters agreed, sharing their thoughts on De Niro’s remarks.

“Has this man lost his mind? It was his party and political bias that took away our freedoms during the pandemic, not to mention they are now telling us what words we can and can’t use, weaponizing the unelected branch of government to prosecute his political opponents…” one commenter wrote.

Shortly after the Biden team left, a Trump campaign reporter took to the microphone to argue that Biden’s presence in the vicinity of the courtroom shows that the trial amounts to “the highest level of election interference.”

“Unscrupulous Joe Biden and his campaign are in total panic, which is why they broke their promises and are now sleeping with a very conflicted judge and making a political mockery of this whole matter,” campaign spokesman Steven Chang said.

Caroline Leavitt, a spokeswoman for Trump’s 2024 campaign, added that “actors like Robert De Niro” have “no understanding of the real issues facing people in this city and across this country.”

“President Trump has the support of hardworking men and women of this country. I had to laugh when Joe Biden’s spokesperson actually came here and denounced President Trump as a threat to democracy. Joe Biden is a real threat to democracy. He’s weaponizing our justice system,” she said.
