Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is scheduled to speak Friday about “the path forward” in his 2024 campaign. Announced Wednesday.
Reports of his financial difficulties sparked rumors Wednesday morning that Kennedy was withdrawing from the race.
If Kennedy were to drop out of the race, political observers have questioned whether he would support a partisan candidate like former President Donald Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris.
In early August, reports emerged that Kennedy was endorsing Harris, but he quickly issued a statement denying the reports.
Kennedy talk The event will take place at 2 p.m. ET on Friday in Phoenix, Arizona, the same city that President Trump is reportedly scheduled to visit.
In the weeks since President Joe Biden left office, Kennedy’s approval ratings have slumped and his funding has declined.
