A Romanian court has ruled that controversial social media personality Andrew Tate will be given back all luxury cars previously seized by prosecutors in a human trafficking investigation.

On Tuesday, the court ruled that the vehicle must be returned to Tate and his brother Tristan, whose luxury car was also seized, within the next 24 hours.
Tate was initially charged with “forming an organized criminal group, human trafficking, trafficking in minors, sexual activity with a minor, and money laundering.”
As a result, he was placed under house arrest in August, during which time a second investigation was conducted.
Additionally, Tate's brother, Tristan Tate, and four other suspects are still being investigated by prosecutors. This is preventive detention, which is less harsh than Mr. Tate's house arrest.
All parties disputed any wrongdoing.
During the investigation, prosecutors seized the man's car and numerous other assets as part of the search operation. Other assets seized were not mentioned in the report that surfaced.
His representatives said the vehicles seized included a Lamborghini, a Maybach, a Maserati, two McLarens and four Ferraris.
Eugen Vidinac, the Tates' lawyer, also said in a statement: “Given the details of the case, there is no reason why the verdict should be different.”
The Tate brothers had already been indicted in a separate human trafficking and sexual exploitation case in mid-2023. The case is on hold while the Bucharest Court of Appeal considers the challenge.
