Ronna McDaniel Allegedly Blew Off Attempt To Tweak State Election Rules To Help Trump

According to Semaphore News, former Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel is trying to help Nebraska amend its state election rules to help former President Donald Trump in the presidential election. He is said to have blown away.

Nebraska RNC Party Chairman Eric Underwood previously approached McDaniel about a bill that was frozen in the Nebraska Legislature that would have given all five of the state’s electors to a statewide winner, Underwood said. “Essentially, the response was, ‘I’m a federal employee, this is a state issue,'” Underwood told Semaphore, noting there had been no movement on the pitch until Tuesday. “Thank you for your attention. Please let me know what happens next.”

Semaphore reported that Turning Point USA chief operating officer and Arizona RNC Commissioner Tyler Bowyer contacted Underwood on Tuesday to ask if he could collect the bill.

The RNC elected new leadership in March after McDaniel decided to step down. After the party merged with the Trump campaign, McDaniel was replaced by Laura Trump, the former president’s daughter-in-law, and North Carolina RNC Chairman Michael Whatley.

In response to Bowyer’s letter to Underwood, Republican Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen, along with Trump and Republican Nebraska Sen. Pete Ricketts, announced plans to unfreeze the bill, according to Semaphore News Agency. I supported it. However, as the bill was being debated, state senators tried to add “winner-takes-all language,” which halted progress on the bill, the newspaper reported.

“There are constitutional ways to accomplish this, including amending it into a separate bill, calling a special session, and suspending the rules,” Underwood told Semaphore. “They have a choice.”

Despite the setback, the bill is still being tried to be saved by Republicans, Semaphore reported.Turning Point USA and the Nebraska Republican Party partner with He plans to host a “Win Every Vote” rally to rally support for the bill. Underwood told Semaphore there are multiple ways to move forward with the bill, adding that Republicans need to recognize the gravity of the situation.

“It’s an open question, but opponents of this winner-take-all effort in Nebraska are in a strong position right now,” said Gunner, a spokesperson for Defender Democracy Together, a group that opposes the bill. Lamar told Semaphore. “With Charlie Kirk coming out and the rally happening next week, we want to put pressure on Republicans. We want the governor to know they don’t have the votes. ”

The RNC did not immediately respond to The Daily Caller’s request for comment.
