Rosamund Pike turned a heartbreaking moment into a red carpet fashion statement.
Pike wore a black Philip Treacy veil over her face to complement a vintage Dior haute couture dress with a similar lace black pattern on the Golden Globes red carpet.
As she explained to Variety, the look was “a protective veil for the occasion.”
“Actually, I had an accident over Christmas. I had a skiing accident as well…not what I wanted going into the Golden Globes on January 7th,” she continued.
