Rosie O’Donnell took to social media on Monday to discuss a “recounting” of President Donald Trump’s significant win over former Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.
The comedian shared a post from social media influencer Joe Braxton on her Instagram story, where Tesla CEO Elon Musk purportedly claimed he “hacked and stole” the 2024 presidential election in response to a recount request.
“I’ll request a recount!” Braxton exclaimed in the caption of his Instagram post shared by O’Donnell.
Braxton made the curious assertion, “Elon hacked and stole the election, then created a department to remove evidence and dismissed any employees who could know the truth.”
“There’s no serious way he secured seven swing states,” Braxton asserted in his post.
President Trump, in fact, not only won the electoral college (the crucial factor for a US presidential victory) but also achieved remarkable margins, taking the popular vote and all contested states nationwide.
O’Donnell, however, has previously accused Trump of election fraud.
Last month, she expressed confusion over Trump’s comments about the elections, stating, “If I admit again that the election was consolidated… why is he allowed to repeat this without any repercussions?”
In this case, O’Donnell seems to be grappling with misunderstandings about Trump’s remarks related to the “rigged election,” which typically refer to the 2020 election. Ironically, she’s now positioned herself as a denier of the election outcome.
Moreover, the comedian has been vocal about various alarming issues since Trump began his second term.
Recently, O’Donnell claimed that if the Republican Tax Cuts and Expenditure Act, dubbed the “big, beautiful bill,” were to pass, it would result in millions facing starvation and death.
“Millions will go hungry. Millions will die,” O’Donnell stressed.
