Rosie O’Donnell angrily discusses Trump’s ‘ear that surprisingly healed’ after the assassination attempt

O’Donnell Questions Trump’s Alleged Assassination

Former talk show host Rosie O’Donnell expressed skepticism regarding the claim that President Donald Trump was shot in the ear. During a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024, Trump allegedly took a bullet to his right ear, prompting a Secret Service agent to rush him off stage as blood reportedly dripped down his face. O’Donnell suggested that if Trump had indeed been shot, his ear wouldn’t have healed so well.

“He’s the one who called for a rebellion! And he didn’t call on the National Guard to help people!” O’Donnell remarked, highlighting her frustration. “And then people died and got injured! It’s on him!”

Trump has denied inciting violence, stating during a speech on January 6, 2021, that the crowd was to “make it peacefully and patriotically” to the Capitol.

Host Jim Acosta found humor in O’Donnell’s commentary but didn’t challenge her view.

Meanwhile, Trump’s former doctor, Rep. Ronnie Jackson, provided details about the incident—claiming Trump sustained a gunshot wound from a powerful rifle. He reported that the bullet was dangerously close to entering Trump’s head, creating a substantial wound along the cartilage of his ear and leading to significant bleeding.

The FBI confirmed in a statement that a bullet had indeed struck Trump. A photograph by The New York Times captured the moment just before Trump began to bleed.

A gunman, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Crooks, fired at Trump from a nearby rooftop, injuring rally goers and fatally wounding a former volunteer fire chief.

Joy Reid, an MSNBC host recently let go, also raised doubts about the shooting during an interview, questioning the validity of Trump’s recovery and the lack of medical records surrounding the incident. “He has these magical doctors declaring he was shot, but do you think his ears have magically grown? We don’t have the medical evidence!”
