Rosie O’Donnell States That Trump’s Mental Health Is Deteriorating, Points Out the 25th Amendment

Rosie O’Donnell Critiques Trump Amid Ongoing Feud

Rosie O’Donnell has intensified her long-standing conflict with former President Donald Trump, suggesting over the weekend that he is showing significant signs of “cognitive decline.”

Her comments came after leaving the U.S. for Ireland. O’Donnell expressed concerns about the political landscape following Trump’s return to the presidency.

Interestingly, she seems to be adjusting to her new life, even after selling a New York City penthouse at a loss of $3.255 billion. Yet, she continues her critiques of Trump, showcasing lingering frustration in a recent video filled with pointed comments.

In a TikTok video, O’Donnell questioned, “When will people recognize his cognitive decline? How can he not articulate consistent thoughts? He struggled to say ‘anonymous’ the other day. Something is definitely off.”

O’Donnell further emphasized that the 25th Amendment might be applicable in this situation. She posed questions about Trump’s ability to lead, saying, “Isn’t it clear that he isn’t fit to lead the free world?”

The 25th Amendment addresses Presidential disability, allowing the President to declare temporary inability to serve. Additionally, it gives power to the Vice President and Cabinet to address such issues, which has recently garnered attention following debates about both Trump and President Biden’s capabilities.

In her video, O’Donnell also directed criticism toward Trump’s supporters, stating, “The delusion runs deep among his followers. I don’t understand why they rally behind a wealthy individual who undermines everything sacred in America. Did you see that recent interview?”

This isn’t the first time O’Donnell has questioned Trump’s mental fitness—she has been vocal about her concerns since at least 2017, even tweeting about his mental health decline.

The roots of the Trump-O’Donnell feud trace back to 2006 when Trump allowed Miss USA Tara Connor to keep her title despite a scandal involving underage drinking and drug use. O’Donnell, a co-host on View at the time, openly criticized Trump’s decision to let Connor maintain her title.

In response to the situation, Trump had stated, “I’ve always believed in a second chance. Tara is a good person who has worked hard and deserves another opportunity.”
