Rumble is suing Google again.
They filed a second lawsuit alleging that Google is illegally leveraging its advantages in advertising technology to the detriment of Rumble.
The first lawsuit is currently in discovery.
Rumble, a publicly traded YouTube alternative supported by conservatives, has filed a lawsuit against Google and its parent company Alphabet.
The big picture: In the lawsuit, Google sued Rumble for more than $1 billion in lost advertising revenue as a client and for illegally exploiting its advantages in ad technology to interfere with its ability to compete as an ad tech competitor. He claims he is owed damages.
This is the second lawsuit the video company has filed against Google. Rumble first sued Google in 2021 for illegally favoring YouTube videos in its search results and within the Android mobile operating system.
The case is currently in discovery after a judge ruled against Google on a motion to dismiss the case.
The Department of Justice also filed a lawsuit against Google last year.
