Founder of Fox News Rupert Murdoch married Elena Zhukova on Saturday at his private vineyard in California in a joyous ceremony attended by close family and friends.

Mr Murdoch, 93, got engaged to Ms Zhukova, a retired molecular biologist, in March this year. The couple had been dating for several months before announcing their engagement.

The wedding took place Saturday afternoon at Murdoch’s Moraga estate in Bel Air, California, a Mediterranean-style estate that also includes several vineyards. Murdoch purchased the estate in 2013.

The couple were surrounded by close family and friends, and their official wedding photographs showed Zhukova in an elegant white dress holding a bouquet of lily of the valley, while Murdoch wore a dark suit and yellow tie.
