Fox News Enters Partnership with “Ruthless” Podcast

Fox News has recently formed a licensing agreement with the “Ruthless” podcast, a move that has already stirred conversations in Washington, DC, and beyond. Announced on Tuesday, this collaboration is part of Fox’s broader strategy to delve into new media.

This news was warmly received by several Republican lawmakers on Capitol Hill, who expressed their enthusiasm through various platforms. For instance, GOP Whip Rep. Tom Emmer of Minnesota shared his excitement on X, saying, “The program has gotten a much bigger platform. Congratulations!” Meanwhile, Senator Jim Banks from Indiana described it as “huge news for Americans who want truth and knowledge.”

Senator Tom Cotton, who was the first guest on the podcast after its launch in 2020, celebrated it as “an incredible program with keen wit and insight,” while expressing his intent to continue listening.

Rep. Richard Hudson of North Carolina cheered the partnership, expressing optimism about the future of the podcast. “This could not have happened to a group of better people!” he noted. Similarly, Rep. Pat Harrigan commended the “Ruthless” team for their longstanding influence in conservative discourse, remarking that they now have a major platform to showcase their work.

Hosts Josh Holmes, Comfortable Smug, Michael Duncan, and John Ashbrook have gained recognition in political circles. Many welcomed them into the Fox family, with some noting that their presence was long overdue. “LFG! Welcome to Fox,” co-host Lawrence Jones stated, while contributor Molly Hemingway highlighted her excitement about the collaboration.

In a humorous twist, Fox News radio host Guy Benson noted his enjoyment of the team’s earlier work, emphasizing the engaging nature of their programs. He wasn’t alone—other contributors and editors echoed similar sentiments about the potential for this partnership.

Since its inception in 2020, “Ruthless” has carved out a space for itself among GOP lawmakers and has garnered significant attention in the podcast landscape. Following the recent announcement, the podcast surged to second place on Apple’s top news podcasts list.

In a joint statement, the co-hosts expressed their enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting a growing appetite for authentic political discussions. “We are thrilled to take ‘ruthlessness’ to the next level through this strategic partnership,” they said. “Our podcasts resonate with our dedicated audience, providing conversations that are often disregarded elsewhere.”

New episodes of “Ruthless” will be available on all podcast platforms and YouTube, set to release every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
