Jake Paul's next opponent in the ring after defeating Mike Tyson by unanimous decision is much debated, but one boxer is serious about making it happen.
In fact, Ryan Garcia vowed that if he could set something up, he would end Paul's entire boxing career.

Garcia already has a fight scheduled for the end of this year, and is scheduled to face Rukiya Anbo on December 30th in Tokyo.
Ampo fought Manny Pacquiao in July, which led to Garcia wanting to fight him. It's a similar situation now with Garcia wanting to fight Paul.

But Oscar De La Hoya, the owner of Golden Boy Promotions, which has Garcia under contract, issued a hammer blow Tuesday night regarding the boxer's exhibition with Ampo.
“Golden Boy Promotions has exclusive rights to the Ryan Garcia fight,” he posted on X. “The organizers of this event have acknowledged that and have agreed in writing that they need our approval to hold this event, as there is no indication that such is the case.” There are no events with Ryan Garcia at this time. ”
Garcia is currently serving a one-year suspension that expires in April 2025 after testing positive for the banned substance ostarine before his match against Devin Haney, but despite his in-ring victory, It was ruled a contest.
The ban prevents Garcia from participating in professional boxing, but it is also the reason he agreed to an exhibition that would not be considered a professional bout.

Garcia had a roller coaster ride leading up to the Haney fight, with many wondering if he was in the right head space to step into the ring. Garcia was criticized for his erratic behavior after he claimed to be smoking marijuana on a livestream.
“I was going through a difficult time in my life, and I'm grateful that I was able to get through that moment in my life,” Garcia told Helwani. “I'm much calmer. I think that's the way I want to live. There's not as much craziness in my life. That's not good for me.”
Now, if a Garcia vs. Paul fight ends up in the books, it will be interesting to see in what weight class these two fight. Paul has beefed up to fight Tyson in a sanctioned bout, and Garcia even said he would bulk up to 185 pounds if necessary.
Garcia weighs between 165 and 170 pounds, but said he plans to get back up to 140 to 147 pounds once he resumes his professional career.
But weight is not an issue for Garcia, who is confident in putting the pole on the canvas.

“I truly believe that if Jake fights like he fought Mike, he can knock him out within four (or five) rounds,” Garcia said.
