The U.S. Navy said Tuesday that a Navy sailor had attempted to access President Biden’s medical records through a government database as questions and concerns about his mental health continue to dog the commander in chief.
Navy officials told Fox News Digital that the unidentified sailor entered “Joseph Biden” in the search on Feb. 23.
“On Feb. 26, 2024, Naval Medical Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Fort Belvoir was notified of unauthorized access to medical records by an active duty military member,” a Navy statement said. “Out of curiosity, a sailor assigned to NMRTC Fort Belvoir searched for the name ‘Joseph Biden’ in MHS Genesis, the Military Health System’s electronic medical record.”
The Navy said sailors did not have access to Biden’s medical records.
The White House has insisted Biden is “absolutely not” abandoning his reelection campaign. “He’s going to keep campaigning.”

Two days after authorities were informed of the alleged search, Biden made an unannounced visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for a physical exam. White House physician Kevin O’Connor said in a letter that the Feb. 28 exam was a “very detailed neurological exam.” [which] It was also reassuring that there were no findings consistent with cerebellar or other central nervous system disease.”
Dr. Kevin Canard, a neurologist who specializes in Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, visited the White House recently as part of an annual physical examination amid growing concerns about the president’s health and mental state.
