New Orleans Saints star defensive end Cam Jordan has donated to the Bourbon Street Victims Fund in the early hours of New Year's Day.
Jordan wrote on social media that he had donated $25,000 to the New Year's Day Tragedy Fund.

The Greater New Orleans Foundation established the fund in response to terrorist attacks in the city.
“The Greater New Orleans Foundation, in collaboration with the City of New Orleans and other community partners, launches the New Orleans New Year’s Day Tragedy Fund to support victims and survivors of the New Year’s Day 2025 mass casualty event.” It's written in the description.

“Around 3:15 a.m. on New Year's Day, a man driving a white pickup truck plowed into a crowd on Bourbon Street where revelers had gathered in the aftermath of New Year's Eve celebrations. The FBI is currently investigating the mass casualty incident. We are investigating this as a terrorist act. ”
At least 15 people were killed and several others injured in the attack.
