San Antonio man killed while chasing dogs on interstate

A 30-year-old man was struck and killed by a car while chasing a runaway dog ​​on an interstate in San Antonio last weekend.

San Antonio police said the man had car trouble and was stopped on the right shoulder of the freeway near Dietrich Avenue on the city’s East Side when his dog jumped out of the car.

In an attempt to get his dogs involved, the man began chasing them down a busy thoroughfare around 10pm on Sunday night.

When they finally managed to capture one of their dogs, a commercial vehicle driving down the highway ran them over.
