The San Jose State women's volleyball team has already had four games canceled this season due to the national controversy over transgender players on the team. But that string of cancellations may be coming to an end now that the team is looking to move forward with its season.
A San Jose State University spokesperson told Fox News Digital on Thursday that future opponents have not given the team any plans to forfeit after Boise State, Southern Utah, Wyoming and Utah State forfeited games. He said he had not informed them.
“We have no notice of cancellation at this time. We are scheduled to play home games against San Diego State tonight and UNLV on Saturday,” the spokesperson said.
With a straight-set loss to San Diego State on Thursday night, the team fell to 9-2 on the season. None of the opponents have told the team that they expect any more forfeits, at least for the time being, so the team will likely proceed with its normal schedule going forward.

The team has 13 games left in the regular season. The schedule includes two games against UNLV, two games against New Mexico, two games against Air Force, a rematch with San Diego State, a rematch with Colorado State, a game with Fresno State, and a game with Nevada. .
The schedule also includes second games against three of the four teams that have already forfeited their first game against the Spartans, including a game against Utah State on October 23rd and a game against Wyoming on November 14th. A game against Boise State is scheduled for November 14th. November 21st, final game of the regular season.
Those programs have not yet announced the forfeiture of the second game against San Jose State.
The final game of the season between San Jose State and Boise State is scheduled to be played on Boise State's campus in Boise, Idaho.
