"Santa, I want a Nazi's head under my tree": Masked individuals send Christmas cards with aggressive leftist messages

Threatening Christmas Cards Spark Concerns in Yucaipa Neighborhood

In Yucaipa, California, a man named Jarrett McComas received an unexpected Christmas card on his doorstep last week. Inside, it contained a rather disturbing message: “Santa, I want to put a Nazi’s head under the tree.” McComas shared his shock with KCBS TV, describing the situation as unsettling given the presence of individuals wearing black masks in his neighborhood.

He wasn’t alone in receiving such cards. Another resident reported a card that stated, “Merry Christmas, fuck you Nazis.” Scott Unger, yet another neighborhood resident, mentioned that different messages were included in each card, some even featuring dates with ominous warnings of future actions.

A video captured by doorbell cameras showed masked figures placing these cards around various locations, even blowing kisses at the cameras. One clip displayed the suspects spitting on a neighbor’s Tesla.

Simona Stacks, another resident who also received a card, expressed fear for her 14-year-old daughter, wondering how she might react seeing masked individuals in their neighborhood. She also speculated on the reasons behind the targeting of her home, suggesting it might relate to the display of patriotic symbols.

Jenny Smith, a public information officer for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, confirmed that authorities are looking into the situation but haven’t identified any specific crimes linked to the letters. They are aware of at least two suspects who fled on foot when approached by a resident.

Unsurprisingly, McComas, who identifies as gay and is engaged to his fiancé, was puzzled about why he had been targeted, especially given that neither he nor his neighbors had displayed any political signs. He shared, “What have I done?” He speculated that the American flag outside his home could have sparked interest but noted not all affected homes had one.

The sheriff’s office announced that patrols in the area would be increased while the investigation continues. Neighbors, despite the unsettling circumstances, expressed determination to keep the holiday spirit alive. McComas said, “I want to bring the Christmas spirit back to the city, and I hope it cheers up other people.”

Investigators suspect there may be more victims and are encouraging anyone with additional information to reach out to law enforcement.
