Saquon Barkley proclaims next goal after dream Eagles season: ‘Why not win another Super Bowl?’

“That's a great story, right?” The Philadelphia Eagles star was asked to summarise the last 10 months leading up to the winning Super Bowl Ricks by Saquon Berkley. He said he would run through.

Berkley sat inside a wand in Trevos, Pennsylvania, and spoke to the media, reflecting on what happened Sunday. The Eagles have stopped NFL history and shone the franchise's second Lombardi Trophy as the 2024 season champion.

Barkley is the AP offensive player of the year, joining the 2,000-yard rushing club and is the catalyst for the stacked Eagles Bunch that reverted from the loss of Super Bowl LVII, while also exploring the NFL in that category. I took the lead.

If he asked Berkley if he would roll up the trophy in Philadelphia last year, he would probably say no. However, after the New York Giants allowed him to enter the free agency, the Eagles called and they signed a deal.

The rest is literally history.

“You can't make up for it,” he joined Wand founder Todd Graves and hundreds of Eagles fans to celebrate the Super Bowl Lix victory. “But for me, I see more people who were with me during that: my family, my friends, the love and support they had for me. Then lose faith. There is no.

“If I had said that when I was 19 or 20, it would take seven years to spend the type of year I did and win the Super Bowl, I probably wouldn't have thought that was the case. But that was adversity. I don't think I lost faith, it definitely helps.”

At the height of the celebration, Berkley has now entered the Eagles locker room at Caesars Superdome, two more seasons (at least on contract) for the team he just joined.

“After the match, I said, 'Why can't our dynasty start now?',” Berkley said. “Maybe my system was there at the time, maybe there was something else on my system. But you can't really focus on it. You could enjoy the moment. Win it It's difficult, and then start at first.

Now, that doesn't mean that Berkley's words about the potential Philadelphia dynasty were not true.

He believes this team has the make-up to do what the Chiefs have tried against them. This marks the first time in league history to win three straight Super Bowls.

Eagles star receiver AJ Brown has announced to social media that a “hunting” to beat and win teams is what drives him, resulting in him still winning the “big game.” I'm not obsessed with it. His counterpart, Devonta Smith, said something with the same effect.

“That's the beauty of the team we have, and a lot of people think like that,” Berkley said. “I saw AJ post something about it, I saw Smitty post something about it. I was with him [quarterback] Jaren [Hurts] I had conversations with him throughout the week. It's kind of awful because when you're a kid you're so excited to get this done. But when you achieve it, you enjoy the moment, and two nights ago I was thinking about how to attack the offseason, so I had a hard time sleeping.

“You're a bit unattainable – greed is not a word – you're obsessed with it. You want to find a way to lift it up again and try again. The dynasty gets caught up in the way you do it. Not available.

So, Berkley is enjoying Friday's Super Bowl Parade in Philadelphia, kicking off at 11am at the team's complex. As he said, he cherished the moment with his loved ones and teammates, immersed himself in love from the fans, and felt a small taste on Thursday.

But what will be next for him and this team? Easy: Keep the title.

“That's a dream. Why not have a better year than I had? Why not win another Super Bowl?” Berkley said.
