Saquon Barkley's home in Pennsylvania was broken into; police are looking into it.

Philadelphia Eagles player Saquon Barkley experienced a burglary at his home in Pennsylvania early on Saturday, as reported by the police.

Officers from Tredyffrin Township responded to a call about a robbery at Barkley’s residence in the Malvern region around 5:10 a.m. However, the suspects had already fled by the time the police arrived, according to information obtained.

Fortunately, Barkley and his family were unharmed. There’s no confirmation if anyone was inside the home during the incident.

So far, authorities have not made any arrests and haven’t disclosed details like what was stolen, how the suspects entered, or the number of people involved.

Detectives are currently on the lookout for a large white SUV believed to be connected to the burglary. The police have released images of the vehicle and are seeking assistance from the public in identifying it.

The Tredyffrin County Sheriff’s Office has not received reports of similar incidents in the vicinity. The Chester County District Attorney’s Office is also aiding with the ongoing investigation.

This incident comes amid growing concerns about criminals targeting professional athletes.

In February 2025, federal prosecutors indicted seven Chilean individuals for burglarizing homes belonging to NFL and NBA players, specifically while the players were away at games. The group allegedly stole over $2 million worth of cash, jewelry, and other valuables.

Barkley, now 29, is gearing up for his third season with the Eagles, with training camp set to begin on July 28. He aims to achieve 1,140 rushing yards in 2025, marking his second consecutive season of over 1,000 yards.

Last season, Barkley had an impressive run, winning the NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award in 2024 and contributing significantly to Philadelphia’s Super Bowl victory in 2025. He set an NFL record with 2,504 rushing yards across both the regular season and playoffs.

Indeed, the Eagles secured Barkley through a two-year extension in March 2025, ensuring he will remain with the team until at least the end of the 2028 season.
