The leader of the Satanist group and three others were arrested Friday after a fight broke out inside the Kansas Capitol after the leader was said to have tried to hold a black chunk in the Rotunda.
Michael Stewart, the head of the Devil's Cave in the Kansas City area, was arrested after the video showed that he punched protesters who tried to incorporate his script.
Kansas Highway Patrol officers tackled him and handcuffed him when they cried out “Hare, Satan!” He was later released on $1,000 bonds due to disorderly conduct and illegal gatherings.

Stewart's nonprofits describe themselves as “a non-independent, non-denominational demonic church.” According to Stewart, the event initially attracted little attention until allegations surfaced that it had stole consecrated bread from a local Catholic church for use at Black Mass.

Stewart and about 30 members of his group gathered outside the state capitol to protest what is called a favor for Christians. Hundreds of Christian protesters sang hymns, urging them to “accept Jesus.”
Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly temporarily banned protests the day after a Catholic group pressured her to stop the Black Mass. Kelly issued her order on March 12th. This was applied to Stewart and his followers.

“There are more constructive ways to protest and express differences without scorning or denying sacred religious symbols,” Kelly said in an announcement about the event.
Rev. Jeremiah Hicks of Cure Church in Kansas City, Kansas, warned against permission for the event.
“The Bible says that Satan will come to steal, kill and destroy, so when we give our nation to Satan, we will give it to death,” he declared.

Followers of the Devil's Cave claimed the event was about freedom of speech. “He's just exercising his first amendment,” Stewart's wife, Maenad Bee, told reporters.
Two other followers of Stewart, Jocelyn Frasie, 32, and Sean Anderson, 50, were also arrested in illegal Congress. Frazee does not have a bond set, and Anderson bond information was not available at the time of publication.
Marcus Schroeder, 21-year-old Christian protester who tried to write Stewart's script, was also arrested for disorderly conduct. His bond was set at $1,000.

Carla Delgado, who attended with her three young children, admitted that he had tried to stop Stewart's demonic ceremony.
“When we saw no one had stopped him, we tried to do it,” she said. In Chaos, her 4-year-old daughter was defeated.

Stewart said his group is planning an event with the viewer being a session. He suggested that they might come back.
