Comedian Ramy Youssef says the next president of the United States must be a transgender “woman.”
During NBC’s opening monologue saturday night livehost Ramy Youssef seemed mostly sincere when he said he wanted a “trans woman” to serve in the White House.
He then mocked Trump supporters and prayed to God to “free the Palestinian people.”
Youssef’s opening coincided with President Joe Biden’s recent declaration of Easter Sunday as “Transgender Visibility Day.”
“I truly believe that the next president should be a woman. You know what I’m saying, right?” Youssef responded to enthusiastic applause from the live audience. “I truly believe that the next president should be a trans woman. I think so,” he added.
He noted that the crowd’s support for the latter statement was somewhat less enthusiastic.

“It’s like New York, we’re liberal…but we’re Italian,” Youssef said. He also joked that a transgender president could campaign for “real change.”
He then teased Trump supporters by saying he recently visited upstate New York and “saw all the Trump stuff” there. Flag, red hat. I was like, “Hey, I went north, I’m south,” and I felt that. “
Mr. Yousef concluded with an anecdote about praying for a friend who has family in Gaza.
“God, please help Ahmed’s family. Stop the suffering. Stop the violence. Free the Palestinian people. Please.”
As Breitbart News reported, Ramy Youssef used his recent “More Feelings” comedy tour to raise money for aid for Gaza.
At this year’s Oscars, she was one of many celebrities, including Billie Eilish, to call for a “permanent ceasefire” in the Gaza Strip. poor thing Co-star Mark Ruffalo.
“We demand an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza. We demand peace and lasting justice for the Palestinian people,” Youssef said on the red carpet.
