Savannah Chrisley Reflects on Charlie Kirk’s Impact Following His Death
Savannah Chrisley has expressed her deep sorrow over the loss of Charlie Kirk. Appearing on “Fox & Friends,” the star of “Chrisley Knows Best” shared that she was set to join Kirk on a college campus tour before his tragic assassination. She opened up about how Kirk had significantly influenced her life and emphasized the importance of carrying on his mission.
“I believe that was a pivotal moment for him when this tragic event occurred,” Chrisley remarked. “While it seemed like they were taking away Charlie’s life, they unintentionally sparked a dialogue that rallied millions of his supporters to fight for our freedom and our voices.” She noted the role Charlie’s wife had in this, stating that she understood the magnitude of the task at hand.

Chrisley described how Kirk had empowered her when she sometimes felt unheard. “I was really looking forward to sitting with Charlie and getting to know him better, as so many of my friends have.” She stressed that he was a powerful voice for the nation.
She also pointed out the lasting impact of Kirk’s legacy at Turning Point USA, especially among young adults. “When I see my 19-year-old brother, I encourage him not to shy away from all the passionate college students out there. Our lives truly depend on it.” With a nod to the future, she stated, “2028 is just around the corner. Charlie wanted us to be bold and vocal, and it’s my mission to do just that.”
Condemnation of Political Violence
Chrisley continued to reflect on Kirk, noting how he and his wife Erica represented their Christian values. “I think that returning to those principles is what can help restore our nation. Honestly, I wouldn’t be where I am today without my faith.”
Kirk was tragically gunned down during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University on September 10th. He was pronounced dead later that same day. Political activists like Kirk often traveled to campuses nationwide, engaging students in critical political discussions.
Authorities have identified 22-year-old Tyler Robinson as the suspected shooter, who reportedly lived with a roommate that had transitioned from male to female.
In a recent event honoring him, notable figures, including former President Donald Trump, planned to speak at the State Farm Stadium in Arizona. Shortly after Kirk’s passing, Chrisley took to social media to share her feelings. “Over the past two and a half years, I’ve met some incredible people, and Charlie was one of them,” she said in a video. “He empowered me as a woman, and now he’s been taken from us. This was truly a political assassination.”
Emphasizing her sadness, Chrisley added, “I can’t put into words how terrible I feel for his wife, Erica. She is one of the kindest people I’ve ever known.” She expressed concerns about the world that her children would inherit but declared that Kirk’s name would not be forgotten.
“He founded a movement that I hope to carry on for my kids,” Chrisley concluded. “None of this makes sense, and I’m still processing it. I was meant to be by Charlie’s side every weekend in October. It’s incredibly tough. I’m praying for him, his family, and everyone affected by this tragedy.”
