Sanford police said officers responded to a shooting on Travertine Terrace just after 7 p.m. Tuesday and found a woman, later identified as Martin, in a driveway with multiple gunshot wounds.

She was taken to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

Police determined that an ongoing argument led to Martin driving to Tyler's home.

According to court records seen by local news station WESH, when Tyler saw Martin at his home, he was armed with a “small children's baseball bat” and a “9mm blank pistol.”
