Schumer accuses Trump of threatening democracy in his feud with federal judge

Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer, DN.Y. believes President Donald Trump is causing a feud and a “constitutional crisis” with a federal judge who ordered the president to halt deportation flights under the alien enemy laws.

When he appeared on NBC's “Meet the Press,” Schumer warned that Trump was considering denialing the court in the process and threatening democracy.

“And democracy is at risk. Look, Donald Trump is a lawless, angry man. He thinks he should be the king. He thinks he should do whatever he wants, regardless of the law, and the judge should listen to him,” Schumer said.

Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer, DN.Y., said President Donald Trump is causing a “constitutional crisis” by opposing the federal judge's order to deport Venezuela's gang members.

US District Judge James Boasberg filed a 14-day restraining order last Saturday to immediately suspend Trump's Tren de Aragua deportation plan after human rights groups allegedly insisted that Venezuelan citizens with legitimate asylum claims were at risk of being wiped out by deportation.

In response, R-Texas Rep. Brandon Gill threatened to submit an article on the ammo each against Boasberg the following day. Trump showed his support for the subsequent moves in the true social post, saying, “I'm just doing what voters wanted me to do. This judge should be bounced each like the many bent judges I've been forced to appear before!!!”

Following Trump's signal, Gill submitted an article, telling Fox News Digital: “In the past few weeks, we've seen several fraudulent judges not only give him, but also try to hamper his democratic and constitutional authority to keep Americans safe.”
