While the idea of harvesting something from humans to power technology might be perfect for a great dystopian novel or sci-fi TV show, wouldn’t you say that applying such a concept to real life is surely insane?
Yes, it’s crazy, but… teeth Happening.
“This is actually being implemented and is currently being used at the University of Michigan.” Glenn Beck“Environmentalists are concerned about how we will generate enough electricity to run AI.”
Their answer came in the form of so-called “organoids”: simplified organs grown artificially outside the body.
Editor and Host at Blaze Media “Decisive moment” James PoulosIn a recent article, he delves deeply into this dire issue. “Prepare yourself: building computers out of human brains is the new environmentalism” Join Glenn as he unravels the crazy concept of donating human brains to power energy-starved supercomputers.
“AI uses a lot of power,” and “environmentalists have always hated nuclear power,” so “they’re looking to us to be the battery,” Poulos explains.
Scientists in this field take stem cells “from embryos or outside the laboratory (and sometimes even from tumors)” and “[turning] Basically, it gets them into the brain cells. [using] We use that as a battery to power something called a bioprocessor.”
This method is considered superior because it “requires about a million times less power than a typical digital processor.”
The hype surrounding this dark concept comes from “the same people who brought us the idea of going carbon zero,” Poulos said. [or] “Net-zero carbon footprint.”
“They see humans as a waste of space, a waste of energy, and they want to use that to power their AI,” he says.
The company behind this movement Final Spark.
According to the company’s website, the organoids that power the AI ”will live for approximately 100 days.”
“So we take an embryo, use it to power a supercomputer for 100 days, then kill it and search for more embryonic stem cells?” Glenn asked, shocked.
The short answer is yes.
“We start the embryogenesis process but stop it before it gets too far, take stem cells from that artificially induced embryonic organism and grow those cells in a similar way to how you grow fake flesh cells,” Poulos explained, adding that the process “is not a one-off”.
“It’s not like once upon a time there was an embryo that had to die for a cause. It’s like a perpetual motion machine, and we have to keep harvesting,” he says.
“Oh, that’s horrible,” Glenn said.
“If we are created in the image of God, how far can we get before something truly horrible happens?” Ploss asks rhetorically, pointing to Nikola Tesla’s prescient warning. “Man may witness man-made horrors beyond his comprehension.”
“Some scientists don’t necessarily believe in God. [and] “They think they’re creating gods with AI and then harvesting those creations to power new gods,” Glenn said.
