Scott Boras is slowly starting to leak information on the Juan Soto sweepstakes.
The mega-agent told reporters at a GM meeting in San Antonio that his client, the top free agent in sports, prioritizes playing for a team with an owner dedicated to “winning.” He said he was doing it. As pointed out by Newsday.
The Yankees and Mets are both hoping to sign Soto to a long-term contract, and several other potential players are expected to be on the list.
