Convicted murderer Scott Peterson is attacked by a fellow California prisoner who is incarcerated for killing his wife and unborn baby.

“On March 9, 2025, imprisoned Charles R. Miles told California amendment and rehabilitation spokesman Todd Javernrik to Fox News Digital. “Staff responded quickly and stopped the attack using chemicals and batons. Both Mile and Peterson were medically evaluated, suffered minor injuries and were returned to their respective homes.”

“Miles was subjected to a serious violation of the rules in the incident,” the statement said.

At the time, Washington, D.C. murder detective Ted Williams told Fox News Digital that he thought he would determine that a rediscovery of the case would not be fruitful.
