Scott Wolf Speaks Up About Divorce

Scott Wolf, known for his role in “Party of Five,” recently broke his silence regarding his divorce from estranged wife, Kelly Wolf. The 57-year-old actor announced on August 15 that he had filed for divorce in June. He expressed concerns about keeping this difficult chapter of their family life private, citing the happiness of their children as his primary focus.

In his statement, he acknowledged the significant challenges they are facing, calling the situation tragic for everyone involved. He also mentioned having received alarming and entirely false allegations from Kelly, regarding psychological and child abuse. Scott shared messages he received from her, where she threatened to make serious claims against him.

Kelly reportedly echoed some of these claims during a 911 call on July 26. In his response, Scott stated that she had devised a plan to submit false claims but expressed doubts about their validity, revealing her intentions to protect their children.

A questionable text message allegedly from Kelly described advice to make claims they didn’t believe were true. In another message, she noted that accusations against Scott had turned her into the villain of the situation, stating that producing similar claims was her way to fight back, hoping to secure joint custody of their children.

Scott labeled her claims as “completely unfounded” and “incredibly dangerous,” highlighting how such allegations traumatize their children. He urged everyone discussing these matters to consider the impact before spreading potentially unreliable information.

Kelly responded to Scott’s statements, asserting that she didn’t believe he would abuse their children. She expressed having lost almost everything but her children, emphasizing her strategic approach to the situation.

The public drama began in June, when Kelly announced their divorce on social media after 21 years of marriage. Scott soon clarified that he was the one who filed for divorce, calling it the hardest decision of his life. Both stressed that their children remain their top priority.

The situation escalated when Kelly was detained by local authorities on June 13 and entered psychiatric care following an incident at their home. Subsequently, Scott sought a restraining order against her, which was granted. He later chose to dismiss the order, following a new agreement regarding their children.

This agreement delineated custodial guidelines for their children, Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, along with regulated visitation terms for Kelly. Although there were attempts for her to regain some possessions from their shared home, incidents of conflict appeared to complicate matters further.
