After one of golf's most historic seasons in 2024, 2025 won't be the ideal start for Scottie Scheffler.

The current PGA Player of the Year and No. 1 golfer in the world will miss next week's Sentry Tournament after undergoing hand surgery.

In a statement released Friday, Scheffler's manager, Blake Smith, said Scheffler “suffered a stab wound to his right hand” while preparing dinner on Christmas Day. said.
