Veteran NBA point guard Austin Rivers recently sparked controversy over the That won’t happen.

Things are different for Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III.

“No,” he told Fox News Digital while discussing a new partnership with beverage giant Lance Collins’ brand new all-organic sports drink, RECOVER 180. I answered honestly.

“I think the NBA certainly has a few athletes that can play in the league or are trying to play in the league. But I think it’s the other way around. You can bring in NFL players and put them on the court. I think” “

Rivers listed options like Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans, and LeBron James (who has weighed in on this discussion before), but Walker said the Seahawks’ He cited his mate, DK Metcalf, as just one example of an NFL star. Who can play an active role on the NBA court?

Metcalf, who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 236 pounds, is an unusual athlete with impressive speed and jumping ability considering his size, an ability he put to the test at last year’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.

Metcalf wasn’t playing against the pros, but he entertained everyone with a performance packed with dunks, blocks and fast break points.

“People saw him win MVP, so it’s definitely him.” [of the game]” Walker said.

JJ Watt slams Austin Rivers for suggesting NBA player could play in NFL: ‘Neither of us have a job’

This debate has been going on for decades, with players in both leagues believing they are superior, especially those who played the other sport at some point in their lives.

Rivers said that on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show” earlier this month, and the former NFL punter immediately asked him a question.

“You can’t put 30 NFL players into the NBA,” Rivers said.

Future Hall of Famer J.J. Watt jumped at Rivers on X, saying, “There’s no work for either of us right now, so just take the plunge.”

Mr. Rivers told Mr. Watt that not only did he include the examples of Mr. Edwards, Mr. Williamson, and Mr. James in his prime, but he also said that he did not mean any disrespect. He just wanted to have an argument.

“My comment was not intended to be disrespectful,” Watt said, for which he apologized in a later post. “It just goes to show how athletic some NBA players are…

“Now, give me the NFL to the NBA…I’ll be waiting. By the way, notice I never said that myself. You’re very easy on me.”

Rivers appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” again and claimed that former NFL receiver Brandon Marshall and Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley attacked him and told him he was right.

But Walker added Metcalf to the conversation, with Cleveland Browns edge Myles Garrett, Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans and many other NFL players being mentioned by sports fans on social media.

Until someone pulls out a Deion Sanders or Bo Jackson and plays both sports professionally at the same time, this debate will simply be about who presents the better argument.

Walker isn’t going to test his limits, as Michigan State is instead looking forward to his third year in the NFL.

He wasn’t very satisfied with last year’s results. That’s because he missed back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons, though he fell just short with 905 yards and eight rushing touchdowns. But he’s working at the team facility during OTAs to see if he’s ready to get four figures in the rushing column in 2024.

To get through these grueling workouts, Walker uses RECOVER 180 to ensure he stays hydrated.

“Usually I find that recovery and health drinks don’t taste very good,” Walker said of RECOVER 180. His favorite flavor is fruit punch. “It’s good for you, but it doesn’t taste as good. With RECOVER 180, it tastes good and it’s good for you, so it’s a win-win.”
