Controversial rapper and hip-hop musician Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in New York City on Monday night amid a federal investigation into alleged sex trafficking, sources said.
Combs has faced significant backlash following recent allegations that he abused his ex-girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie Ventura, in 2016.
His Beverly Hills mansion was also searched by the Department of Homeland Security about six months ago. It's unclear what agents were looking for in the March raid, but it's believed to be part of a sex trafficking investigation.
