Diddy’s Miami mansion was the scene of activity Tuesday following a federal raid the day before, which law enforcement officials said was part of a federal sex trafficking investigation. That’s what it means.
The newspaper learned that dark-colored SUVs were seen coming and going from his mansion on Miami Beach’s Star Island throughout the day.
Didi was last photographed talking animatedly on a cell phone at a Miami airport after authorities intercepted his private jet as it was heading to the Caribbean, but was never seen leaving the premises. Not yet.
On Monday, federal authorities also searched a home in Los Angeles, and Miami police, working with federal agencies, arrested a Diddy employee on cocaine and marijuana possession charges.
Meanwhile, a former employee of Jennifer Lopez, who dated Diddy from 1999 to 2001, recalled how the 54-year-old rapper was often demanding and demeaning.
“He felt like he was our boss by default,” a former Lopez employee told the Post.
“He directed her entire team as if we were working for him. Whatever he wants, we have to go get it. That was more of a nuisance than anything else.”
The employee said Diddy also often made the women uncomfortable.
“Diddy seemed to put us all into two categories: the possible and the not-possible,” the employee says.
“Believe it or not, it would have been better not to have cheated. Then he would just be rude and act like we were waitresses, as if we were there to serve him.” He’ll act creepy when he’s around cute girls.”
“He didn’t understand the concept of personal space,” the employee continued.
“Not everyone wants to be touched by a man, even if he’s rich and powerful. He exuded a dark vibe. I didn’t like being near him. But neither did anyone else. [Lopez’s] team. “
Photos from Monday’s raid showed federal agents leaving with bags of evidence, including hard drives and electronic devices.
Several people have filed civil lawsuits against him alleging sexual abuse.
Didi has denied all charges on social media and through his lawyers, who have branded the raid a “witch hunt” and said one of the cases against him is “purely a money grab. It is nothing more than that.”
Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, was not arrested or charged, but “spoke with and cooperated with authorities,” his attorney said.
His travel is not restricted in any way, he added.
Didi’s professional life was also thrown into turmoil by the attack.
And at Didi’s company, productivity has come to a standstill, despite assurances from management that it will be business as usual.
The newspaper learned that about half of Comms Global’s employees did not report to work on Tuesday, and several of them added banners to LinkedIn saying they were looking for work.
“No one knows what the attack was about,” said one Didi employee.
“Rumors are flying around. They have already worked very hard for us, but the uncertainty is the last straw. Everything is a mess.”
