Four undocumented individuals have escaped from the Delaney Hall Detention Center in Newark, New Jersey. This facility was recently in the news when Representative Ramonica McQuiver (D-NJ), facing federal charges, was seen confronting federal immigration authorities there.

On Friday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension of these individuals. The deadline for tips is June 12th.

This detention center works closely with Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) and typically houses undocumented immigrants detained in the Mikuni region for various offenses.

A senior DHS official remarked, “DHS has observed four detainees fleeing from a private Delaney Hall detention facility.”

Law enforcement agencies are collaborating to track down these escapees, and tips are coming in. If you have any information that could help locate these individuals, please contact 911 or the ICE tip line at 866-DHS-2-ICE. The DHS and the FBI are offering a reward for info leading to the arrests of these individuals deemed a public safety risk.
