Sen. Joe Manchin (D-Virginia) has not yet endorsed President Biden or any other candidate for the 2024 presidential election.
In response to a question from CNN reporter Caitlan Collins on Monday, Manchin said he has not yet decided whether to support any of the current presidential candidates.
“Right now I’m not endorsing anyone,” Manchin said. “Let’s see what happens.”

“I am committed to ensuring that the heart of this country has a path forward to be represented,” Manchin said. “And that’s center-left and center-right.”
Manchin has previously said a president should have the “knowledge,” “passion” and “competence” necessary to unite a divided nation, but Biden’s increasingly polarized He said he remains concerned about the policy.
“I talked to him and his guys about him going too far to the left. They were pushing him, pulling him, whatever,” Manchin said. “But that’s not the place for America. That’s not the place for our country.”

Manchin announced Friday that he would not run for president, ending months of speculation that he would enter the race on a third-party ticket.
“I will not seek to run as a third-party candidate. I will not be involved in the presidential race,” Manchin said in a speech at West Virginia University as part of a “listening tour” that began last month. his daughter’s campaign group “Americans Together” – A movement that calls itself a “moderate majority” that rejects “extremism in politics.”
No Labels, the group that had hoped to woo Manchin, said it was still considering the option of fielding a third-party presidential candidate after the senator decided not to run.
