On Friday, former Republican presidential candidate Scott (RS.C.) endorsed 45 parties.th The president shared the stage with the former president at a campaign event in Concord, New Hampshire.

“Today, we need a president who closes the southern border. We need Donald Trump,” Scott said. “We need a president who will unite the country. We need Donald Trump. We need a president who will protect your Social Security and your mother's Social Security. We need a president who will protect your Social Security and your mother's Social Security. We need Donald Trump.”

As he brought Scott to the stage, Trump noted that the senator had endorsed him two days earlier.

Some saw the endorsement as a jab at fellow South Carolinian Nikki Haley, R.S.C., who nominated Scott to the Senate in 2012.

Scott and Haley have long been friends and political allies ahead of the 2024 campaign.

When Sen. Jim DeMint's seat became vacant, Haley appointed Scott to the seat because Scott's record and character “earned the seat.”

After Scott withdrew from the primary, many of his financial backers quickly switched to Haley.

When asked how she felt about the support, Haley said, “It's interesting that President Trump is aligned with all the insiders in Washington when he says he wants to drain the quagmire.” But they're going to do what they're going to do. ”

Last May, Scott announced his own attempt to challenge President Trump. After about six months, he decided to give up as he struggled to gain support in the polls despite receiving millions of dollars from prominent donors.
