Senate confirms Trump’s treasury pick

The Senate voted on Monday and confirmed Scott Bessent, the choice of President Donald Trump led by the Ministry of Finance.

Bessent secured a confirmation with 68-29 votes and became the fourth member of the Trump cabinet to confirm him.

Basent first advanced from the Senate Finance Committee for 16-11 votes. After his nomination passed the committee, the Senate voted for the clot and moved to the final confirmation slip.

Hedge fund billions, like DHS Secretary Christie Noem and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, sailed through confirmation with the support of the bipartisan.

Other candidates are expected to have a narrow confirmation, like Pete Hegouses, who was confirmed to be the Secretary of Defense on Friday after Vice President JD Vans has won a tie -break vote.

Some of the most contested candidates are in hot seats this week. Robert F. Kennedy Junior testifies to secure his spots led by the Ministry of Health and Welfare on Wednesday and Thursday.

TULSI GABBARD, tapped to serve as a director of national information, and Kash Patel, Trump's FBI pick, will also testify on Thursday.
