Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) said Sunday that a good summary of the establishment immigration bill is that “the border never closes.”
“The border will never close” is a good summary of this bill and Joe Biden’s policies. I can see why Chris Murphy supports it. I can’t imagine why any Republican would support this brutal proposal,” Vance said.

The Senate has released a long-awaited border bill, but as Breitbart News editor Neil Munro said, this will only increase the flow of migrants into the United States.
Vance continued: “While the House will impeach Mr. Mayorkas next week, the Senate will vote to give Mr. Mayorkas broad discretion not to enforce border security.” Why would Republicans vote for this? ”

Vance is not the only Senate Republican opposed to the Senate immigration bill.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) said:
It is against the law for individuals to enter our country illegally. This is still an amazing thing to say. Even though we are a nation of law and order, the Biden administration has allowed more than 8.8 million illegal immigrants to flood our border. Meanwhile, at least 85,000 migrant children have gone missing under Biden’s Health Department watch, as cartels and unvetted sponsors take advantage of them.That’s not acceptable and it’s acceptable. It is unacceptable for even one immigrant to enter our country illegally. I will never vote to legalize illegal immigration.and I don’t support this deal. [Emphasis added]
She added, “If my Democratic colleagues are serious about working with us to secure our borders, they should call for a vote on the Secure Borders Act (HR2), which will be introduced in the Senate on May 15th. “The matter has stalled without even a public hearing being held,” he added. ”
