Democrats like to cite many humanitarian reasons to justify open border policies, such as providing asylum for people fleeing poverty, war, and violence. But according to Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, “immigration is about power politics” and “has nothing to do with the individuals” who move here.
“Talk to these people” and ask them “do they care about the little kids that are coming out?” [or] They don’t care what happens to the teenage girls they meet. All they care about is voting. Their ultimate goal is to take over Texas,” Paul tells Dave Rubin.
Even the new border bill, which proposes to allow up to 5,000 migrants per day (1.8 million per year) before any action is taken, is proof of this.
“Once you get over 1.8 million people a year, the rules become less strong. They give you discretion. [Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas]He narrowly avoided impeachment yesterday,” Paul explains.
“Meanwhile, the Biden campaign is cutting razor wire and removing cargo containers that are essentially a border wall,” so “we’re negotiating with them to get new power that they’re currently using.” I’m going to trust you to use their [current] Does it have the power to destroy the border wall? ”
“Actually, I’m not against immigration. “I’m actually in favor of more legal immigration,” Paul continued, “but they’re small It needs to be a bill, but instead they say, ‘We’re going to increase employment-based or work-based visas, but only if we give you $18 million.’ People here already have the right to vote. I have.”
“I’m pretty open about this issue. I’m going to give work permits to people who came here illegally, but I’m not going to give them the right to vote.” He continued: No changes are happening on immigration… nothing is happening because the Democrats are saying ‘all or nothing.’ ”
“What do you think the Democratic Party’s intentions are?” Dave asks.
Particularly in Texas, Paul explains, “all they care about is voting.” “The only way they can take over Texas is to legalize the millions of people who are in the country illegally and force them to vote.”
