Shaboozey unexpectedly appears at a wedding while in a California river.

A couple in California, who has reportedly been waiting for years to tie the knot, had a surprise visit from country singer Shaboozy during their wedding at the Owens River.

K. Rose Events, a wedding planning company from Southern California, shared a video on Instagram featuring the couple capturing memories by the river.

Amid the ceremony, Shaboozy—whose real name is Collins Obinna Chibueze—floated by on a tube, casually enjoying a camping and tubing trip dubbed “Woolie Run.”

The shirtless performer, donning a trucker’s hat and sipping from a soda can, was all smiles as he drifted past them.

As the couple shared a kiss for the camera, nearby guests cheered. The wedding planner emphasized that this event was genuine, stating, “This was not staged. This is what actually happened.”

“They exchanged vows beneath the majestic Sierras, and that’s when Shaboozy made a surprise appearance as they floated on the river,” explained the planner.

The post provided some lighter commentary, noting the couple’s reactions: “The bride’s face said it all. The groom couldn’t stop laughing, and I think I almost lost my composure there,” it read.

The planner also mentioned, “Mammoth weddings can be unpredictable yet unforgettable. If you’re after a wedding story that’ll leave people in disbelief, this is it,” showcasing the charm of the moment they captured.

Shaboozy himself later commented on the post wishing the couple well, saying, “Congratulations! From Shaboozy and @thewoollyrun!!”

The video quickly gained traction online, reaching over 12 million views and nearly 585,000 likes within a day.

The 2026 Woolly Run took place between August 5th and 9th.

It’s described as a gathering for those who appreciate motorsports, the outdoors, and enjoying life’s moments.

Kicking off with a night of camping at the Alabama Hills, the trip includes three more nights at a designated campground along the Owens River in Mammoth, serving as the base for all participants.

Interestingly, Shaboozy shared moments from the trip on Instagram, but didn’t reference the wedding incident.

His recent work includes the album “The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales,” released on July 31, featuring various guest artists. He describes this project as a concept album, revolving around a fictional outlaw named Cherry Lee and her quest for revenge.
