Shaquille O’Neal hasn’t exactly endorsed the romance between Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion, which has recently come to light.
During a recent episode of “The Big Podcast with Shaq,” the retired basketball star predicted that the relationship between the Mavericks guard and the Grammy-winning rapper might only last six weeks.
When co-host Adam Lefkoe brought up the new NBA couple, O’Neal immediately responded with “six weeks.”
He shook his head “no” multiple times when Lefkoe asked if he thought the couple could last into the fall.
Mike Tyson, who was a guest on the podcast, humorously questioned, “Who is Klay Thompson?” eliciting laughter from the audience.
O’Neal didn’t elaborate much further on his thoughts.
Thompson, who is 35, and Megan, aged 30, were confirmed as a couple earlier this month.
The rapper posted a series of bikini shots with Thompson visible in the background, enjoying a relaxing moment in the pool during a recent vacation.
The couple hasn’t been shy about showing affection, appearing together publicly at various events—including the recently held Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City.
Megan also shared a video of them working out together and expressed that he is the nicest guy she has ever dated.
As the NBA season approaches, it’s likely Meg will be seen courtside in Dallas cheering for Thompson, who is entering his second season with the Mavericks after winning four championships with the Warriors over his career.
