Cleveland Browns Fall to Tennessee Titans
The Cleveland Browns, led by head coach Kevin Stefanski, faced a disappointing defeat against the Tennessee Titans, losing 31-29 on Sunday. The game was tough, and fans had quite a bit to say about it.
In a pivotal moment, rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders connected on a touchdown pass to tight end Harold Fannin Jr., which brought Cleveland within two points. It seemed reasonable, maybe even expected, that they’d go for the two-point conversion to equalize. Oddly enough, instead of keeping Sanders in, the decision was made to switch to a Wildcat formation.
Sanders, despite the loss, showcased his abilities, throwing for 364 yards with three touchdowns and running for another. Unfortunately, a crucial interception he threw in the third quarter allowed Tennessee to score again, which definitely shifted momentum.
One notable play was when Browns rookie Quinshon Judkins attempted a trick play, trying to flip the ball to wide receiver Gage Rabadine. It didn’t go as planned—Judkins ended up running ahead of Rabadine, resulting in a scramble that didn’t help the situation.
Fans took to social media, criticizing Stefanski’s game calls, especially with the stakes so high. It’s one of those things that kind of sticks in your mind—you wonder if a different approach could have changed the outcome.
Tennessee quarterback Cam Ward completed 14 of 27 throws for 117 yards and managed to score two touchdowns. Running back Tony Pollard was also instrumental, rushing for 161 yards and two touchdowns himself. This mix made it a challenging day for the Browns.
With this result, Tennessee improved to 2-11 while Cleveland slipped to 3-10, both teams now out of playoff contention. It seems like this season has been a rough one for both squads, leaving fans to hope for better times ahead.
