Sheriff’s office celebrates major ‘baby boom’ as law enforcement poses for sweet photo with their 15 kids

Kentucky law enforcement officers are celebrating an adorable addition to their department as several lieutenants and sergeants all welcomed young children in less than a year.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) in Burlington saw an increase of more than 15 as officers became parents to a baby boy and a baby girl.

A photo of the children posing with their parents was shared on BSCO’s Facebook page, where about 3,000 users liked the post.

“It will continue to be fun to meet kids the same age and be able to be together as a family and support each other,” Hull added.

BCSO public information officer Maj. Philip Ridgell said there was a “baby boom” in 2022-2023, but photos posted on social media recently showed officers and their children together for the first time. It shows the situation.

This image was taken by Kyla Scudder of Kyla Mae Photography, who volunteered to take the image for free.

“As a department, it brings us closer together, especially having kids the same age and continuing to grow together and continue to have fun together.”

Ridgell said Boone County Sheriff’s Deputies coordinated and organized the photo.

“Aside from work, families from many departments get together and go on vacation together. When my wife and I look at those photos, we see that our family continues to grow,” Becker said, adding that his children He added that he hopes they will form an everlasting bond.

Not only did Vice President Jake Bolton pose for a photo with his first daughter, but his wife is also expecting a baby boy this year.

“As a department, it brings us closer together, especially kids the same age so we can continue to grow together and have fun,” Bolton said.

Scudder said he volunteered to take the photo after Hull’s wife, Jordan Hull, told him about the idea.

“I was so happy that she asked me to do it,” Scudder, who regularly photographs couples, families and seniors, told Fox News Digital.

“I have a 7-month-old, so it’s great to be able to do that.”

“They do so much for our community… it’s really nice to give back in a way,” she added.

Scudder said he would be happy to photograph the department’s next “baby boom.” This is a project that authorities are already considering for the future.

Photos posted on social media showed 15 officers, but Scudder noted that there were more baby boomer officers not in the photos.
