The team behind the Shiba Inu ecosystem has completed an emergency security upgrade to the Shibarium Bridge.

A few hours after the notification, Shiba Inu's top developer revealed that the maintenance of Shibaryu Bridge had been successfully completed. He praised the team's quick upgrade.
While the maintenance of the Sybarium Bridge has been completed, the team is working on strengthening the network burn contract, Darya said. He said the upgrades will continue over the weekend and into next week.
Sybarium Bridge launch and upgrade failure
It's worth mentioning that Shibarium Bridge has undergone significant upgrades since its reboot on August 28, 2023. The service was originally scheduled to launch on August 16, 2023.

Withdrawal times for LEASH, SHIB, and WETH ranged from 45 minutes to 3 hours, while BONE withdrawals took up to 7 days. The team implemented a major upgrade earlier this year to resolve this issue, reducing BONE transfer time to 45 minutes.

Meanwhile, Shibarium has recorded more than 4 million transactions every day since November 1st. With 4.81 million transactions recorded yesterday, the network now boasts a total of 583,828,058 (583.82 million) transactions.
Furthermore, since Shibarium's launch, more than 1.99 million blockchain addresses have interacted with Shibarium, and 8.15 million blocks have been processed to date.
