Shocking McDonald's clip demonstrates employee putting fries in her mouth before returning them to a customer's container

Authorities are looking into a disturbing viral video that shows a McDonald’s worker putting french fries in his mouth and then returning them to the box, likely intended for customers.

A woman in the East Main Street McDonald’s kitchen in Southbridge, Massachusetts, can be heard saying, “So, you want fries today, right?” before she mimics eating the fries, with her co-workers laughing in the background. The unsettling video quickly gained traction online.

The footage captures the employee putting the fries back in the container.

One local gym-goer expressed outrage after viewing the clip, stating, “That’s awful, are you kidding me?” He mentioned he would be avoiding this McDonald’s from now on and reconsidering fast food altogether.

Another woman, visibly disturbed, commented, “I think it’s strange that she’s touching other people’s food,” adding, “Honestly, I thought I didn’t like it.”

According to reports, both the Southbridge Police Department and the city’s Board of Health were notified about the video, which initially circulated in private messages.

This unpleasant clip has since gone viral, prompting police to receive multiple tips and media inquiries, confirming they are actively investigating.

The police released a statement acknowledging awareness of the video that allegedly shows food contamination at the fast food establishment, stating their intent to verify whether the food was served to any customers and identify those involved.

The owners of the Southbridge McDonald’s, the Spadia and Balducci families, informed the public that the employees in question have been terminated, though their identities remain undisclosed.

They stated, “The actions of these individuals are unacceptable and do not reflect our organization’s food safety standards and values. We conducted an internal investigation, and they are no longer employed by our organization.” They also reassured that they are cooperating with local authorities and health officials, emphasizing that there were no public health concerns or violations found. “The welfare and safety of the Southbridge community remains our top priority,” they concluded.
