Dozens have been injured as police continue to search for suspects after being shot Friday at a pub in Toronto, Canada.
Toronto police responded to the shooting in the area of Progress Avenue and Corporate Drive in eastern Toronto at about 10:40pm. The shooting took place near the town centre of Scarborough.
According to the CBC, there have been reports of shootings and aggressive shootings inside a pub in Scarborough.
One police officer was killed and another was injured in Newark, New Jersey.

Twelve victims were taken to hospital for treatment. Police said four victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, but the extent of the remaining eight injuries is unknown.
Police said the suspect was seen wearing a black balaclava mask and driving in a silver car, CBC reported.

Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow said on X that he was “deeply bothered to hear reports of shootings at a pub in Scarborough.”
The mayor spoke with Toronto Police Chief Myron Demcue and said he assured her that “all the necessary resources are being deployed.”

“This is an early and continuous investigation. The police will provide further details. My thoughts are with the victim and their families,” Chow said.
