Simone Biles reacts as her NFL husband, Jonathan Owens, scores for Bears in pivotal moment

Simone Biles became every NFL fan on Sunday when she watched her husband, Jonathan Owens, pick up a blocked punt ball and score a touchdown for the Chicago Bears.

Owens made the play with 9:07 left in the third quarter, at which point Chicago was trailing the Tennessee Titans 17-3.

Biles was asked at X how she felt after the game.

“I nearly had a heart attack,” she wrote.

It was Owens' second career touchdown, making it a key one for the start of 2024. His score seemed to spark something for the Bears.

Titans quarterback Will Revis couldn't get any going after that. The Titans punted three times. Revis had two interceptions, one of which went for a touchdown. Chicago scored 24 straight points, starting with a Cairo Santos field goal in the second quarter.

Santos followed up with two more field goals after Owens' scoop and score: Bears defender Tyriq Stevenson recovered a Revis interception for a touchdown, and Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams passed the ball to D'Andre Swift for the two-point conversion.

Williams' win was the first by a quarterback drafted with the No. 1 overall pick to win a season-opening game since David Carr of the Houston Texans in 2002.
