Singer Tommy James stops concert from ‘exhaustion’

“Mony Mony” singer Tommy James had to suddenly finish his concert in Las Vegas last Friday after suffering from fatigue.

James performed at Golden Nugget Casino on March 7th and was reported to have stopped performing for about an hour of the show.

James president Carol Ross Derborough told Fox News Digital that he stopped the show “due to fatigue.”

Ross Derborough also said he was up early to come across a five-hour flight to Las Vegas, heading out from the hotel for a sound check and then back in New Jersey to “work on a Sirius XM radio show.”

James is scheduled for a show in Tulsa, Oklahoma next weekend, with Ross Derborough saying he will arrive the day before.

Las Vegas Review Journal Reported audiences say they stopped singing during his 90-minute show, “Do Something To Me,” before his signature song “Monny Monny” and the show's encore.

The 77-year-old began to breathe vigorously and sat in front of the drums to recover.

Representatives from the Golden Nugget told the outlet that paramedics and casino security had handled James on the scene, and he left without any problems.

James released 12 solo studio albums starting in 1970, with eight released alongside Tommy James and Shondels.

He played “Crimson and Clover” with Joan Jett and Black Hearts at the latter Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony in 2015.
